SOUTHINGTON - Wethersfield police are asking for the public’s help finding a man and woman who stole a woman’s purse in their town before making a withdrawal from the victim’s bank account in Southington.

On Nov. 19, a vehicle was broken into at the Mill Woods Dog Park in Wethersfield and a purse was taken. The same day, at about 4 p.m., the victim’s credit card was used by a male at a Walgreen’s in New Britain.

Then, on Nov. 22, a female withdrew money from the victim’s bank account at a bank in Southington. The suspect was seen operating a Kia SUV.

Wethersfield police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects, who were caught on video surveillance.
