SOUTHINGTON - A Bristol man has been charged with vandalizing a vehicle parked at a Southington restaurant.

Joshua Miner, 45, was arrested by police Monday and charged with one count of first-degree criminal trespassing.

Police said Miner is believed to be responsible for a vandalism complaint that occurred on Jan. 12 outside Tavern 42, located at 42 West Main St. There, a vehicle belonging to an employee of the restaurant was damaged in the parking lot. The employee had recently had a dispute with Miner, police said.

Police said video surveillance in the area assisted with the investigation.

Miner, who is free on a $1,000 non-surety bond, is scheduled to be arraigned in Bristol Superior Court on Feb. 13.
