SOUTHINGTON - A Naugatuck man has been accused of planting a camera in a gym bag in the Southington YMCA’s locker room to record men as they were getting out of the shower.

Leonidas Fernando Torres-Cabrera, 30, was allegedly caught Monday after the camera was found in the area where men dry off in the locker room of the facility, at 29 High St. Police said the camera was recording when it was found.

According to police, Torres-Cabrera was seen several times near the gym bag before the camera was found inside it. He also allegedly admitted to police that he had set up the camera.

Torres-Cabrera is facing charges of voyeurism and disorderly conduct.
