SOUTHINGTON - The Southington Library invites teens in grades 7-12 to attend the Foreign Films and Food series, starting with a showing of “The Gods Must Be Crazy” on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

Each month, the library will show a film from a different country and participants will try traditional dishes and snacks from that country.

On Tuesday, Teen Librarian Nicole Kent will be showing the 1980 South African comedy “The Gods Must Be Crazy” at 3 p.m.

The movie is rated PG and is an hour and 49 minutes long.

This movie is “a comic allegory about a traveling Bushman who encounters modern civilization and its stranger aspects, including a clumsy scientist and a band of revolutionaries.”

Registration is required as seating is limited.
