SOUTHINGTON - A car crashed into a business on North Main Street Wednesday morning.
No injuries were reported. Around 10 a.m., the car, a four-door Toyota sedan, jumped a sidewalk curb and went through a wall of the building, ending up all the way inside the business at 416 N. Main St., the Southington Glass Company Inc.
The crash left a gaping hole in the structure.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, but the woman who was driving reportedly walked away unharmed.
An employee at Southington Glass said no one from the company wished to comment Wednesday morning, as the car nearly struck two employees who were inside the building, leaving everyone a little shaken up.
The crash caused extensive damage to the building and glass products inside.
