Southington man wanted by police surrenders

NEW BRITAIN – A Southington man turned himself in on three warrants involving drug charges, according to Southington police.

Stephen Micalizzi, 38, turned himself in on Aug. 12 after learning there were three warrants for his arrest. The three warrants each charged Micalizzi with possession of narcotics and sale of narcotics.

Micalizzi posted a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on Aug. 26.

The warrants for the case were sealed by the court and no further details were available.
