SOUTHINGTON -- A Southington man has pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge.
Philip Graveline, 69, was found with over 300 images of child pornography, according to police.
The 69-year-old appeared before a judge on Tuesday, in New Britain Superior Court, where he took a plea bargain. He pleaded guilty to one felony count of second-degree possession of child pornography.
Graveline is free on $100,000 bond. He has not yet been sentenced, and is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 5.
Southington police in January 2020 announced Graveline’s arrest, saying at the time that police were alerted to his potential possession of child pornography by a tip that was provided to detectives. Upon obtaining a search warrant for his home, police found over 300 images of child pornography on a computer, police said.
Judicial records indicate the search took place in February 2019.
