HARTFORD - The Polish National Home has a fun night filled with music, drinks and food coming up.
On Friday, Oct. 13, the Divine Trio, a group of three women, will perform a concert in the organization’s Theater of Imagination, at 60 Charter Oak Ave.
Asha Lassen, the marketing and event coordinator at the Polish National Home, said the event will include a happy hour from 5-7 p.m.
The performance, which Lassen described as a “cabaret-style” event, will begin at 6 p.m.
“We’re combing the performance with the happy hour,” she said. “We hope everyone will have a good time.”
Admission to the concert is free. Drinks and food will be available for purchase.
“There will be both songs in Polish and songs in English,” Lassen said. “People can sing along if they like and dance.”
“It’s about bringing everyone together. It’s just a fun, laid-back night of music and drinks.”
Lassen said this will mark the second time the Divine Trio has performed at the Polish National Home. The last time, she said, got a great turnout and was a really good time.
“The main reason we’re doing this is to bring together the American and Polish community. Everybody is welcome. It will be a really fun night for everyone.”
All ages are welcome.
The Polish National Home is a cultural and social organization that was created more than 85 years ago “to foster and promote the common welfare of the Polish-American community in Hartford and its vicinity,” according to its website.
