Stanley Black & Decker partners with new professional soccer club

NEW BRITAIN - Hartford Athletic’s home opener is taking place on May 4. But just before the start of the season, the professional soccer club announced that Stanley Black & Decker will join it as a founding partner.

As part of the partnership, the Stanley Black & Decker logo will be displayed on the back of Hartford Athletic’s home and away jerseys. This relationship will also be used in community programs.

Hartford Athletic was established last year and is in its first season of competition in the United Soccer League The home opener will be at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

Stanley Black & Decker is also a brand partner of the Hartford Yard Goats and the New Britain Bees, among other organizations.
