For more than 13 years, Attorney Claudia R. Barbieri’s law practice has been in the areas of Probate law, bankruptcy and real estate law. She has helped local families as the New Britain Superior Court Criminal Court Judges appoint her to represent the best interest of children who are victims of crime. Additionally, Attorney Barbieri has been an active volunteer on the Prudence Crandall Center’s (“PCC”) Board of Directors in New Britain since 2007, and is in her third term as the Board President. PCC is a non-profit organization whose mission is “assisting people to achieve lives free of domestic violence by providing advocacy, support, and education.”
In celebration of Law Day, New Britain Attorneys John A. Barbieri and Claudia R. Barbieri, received the President’s Award and the Liberty Bell Award, respectively, presented by the Greater New Britain Bar Association. This year’s Law Day Ceremony on May 8 at the New Britain Superior Court reflected on “Free Speech, Free. Press, Free Society,” the theme of this year’s celebration.
They received the awards at the New Britain Superior Court’s annual Law Day Celebration in May.
