The UConn men’s basketball team’s game against Xavier, which was wiped out last week due to the Huskies’ COVID issues, has been rescheduled for Feb. 11. The Huskies will play at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati at 7 p.m. in a game that will be aired on FS1.

The Big East Conference announced the new date on Tuesday.

UConn is slated to play at Madison Square Garden in New York against St. John’s Feb. 13, two days after its new date with Xavier.

UConn (10-3, 1-1 Big East) has been idle since Dec. 21, with two of its games postponed because of COVID. No makeup date for the Huskies’ clash with Butler that was scheduled for Jan. 1 has been announced yet.

In addition to the new UConn-Xavier date, the Big East announced the rescheduling of two other games Tuesday. Butler’s game at St. John’s, originally slated for Dec. 23, will be played Feb. 18. St. John’s game at Georgetown, which was supposed to be played Jan. 1, will now be played on Feb. 21.
