Staff report

Southington High School, along with Kennedy and DePaolo Middle Schools, are offering online registration for fall sports through FamilyID ( www.familyid.com ).

FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides a way to register for the programs, without the need for yellow cards.

The FamilyID system keeps track of registrants’ information in their FamilyID profile. Information is entered only once for each family member for multiple programs.

To find a program, go to www.familyid.com , select “find a program” on the right side, type in Southington, click on Southington High School 2017 Fall Athletics Registration and follow the prompts.

Fall sports registration is now open and the deadline is Monday, Aug. 14. The nurse will be in the office on Aug. 15 to approve physicals.

For more information, call the athletic office at 860-628-3229, ext. 425, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also contact FamilyID direct at any time at support@familyid.com or 888-800-5583, ext. 1.

The program will also be used for online registration for cross country at Kennedy and DePaolo Middle Schools. Follow the same directions above, but go to the DePaolo or Kennedy registration section and follow prompts.

For more information, call Lee McLean at 860-628-3229, ext. 425, or email lmclean@southingtonschools.org.

Registration deadline for the middle school cross country programs is Aug. 21. The nurse will be in the office on Aug. 22 and 24 to approve physicals.

Fall sports begin on Saturday, Aug. 24, except for high school football, which begins Aug. 18.

All online registration and updated physicals must be completed and in the nurse’s office before students can try out or practice.
