Jack of All Trades Remodeling is run by a father-son duo and they can do any kind of remodeling job a customer needs.

Jack of All Trades Remodeling is a New Britain-based home remodeling company run by Dan St. Laurent and his son, Danny St. Laurent. The company specializes in carpentry, painting, kitchen and bathroom renovations, tile installation, plumbing and electrical work. But true to their name, the company is able to do any kind of remodeling work that needs to be done.

“If it can be done, then we can do it,” their website states. “From little repairs to major projects we are the team to call.”

The company motto is “No Job Too Small,” and their past jobs are proof of that motto. The company has built custom-made bookcases, custom-designed trash bins to blend in with the kitchen and a “cat walk” near the ceiling of a bedroom for cats to walk on.

Jack of All Trades Remodeling has been a family business since it was founded in 1986. After a brief career as a medical engineer, Dan St. Laurent started SL Associates, a real-estate developing and management company. Within a year, Dan St. Laurent started working with his older brother, Tim St. Laurent.

During that year, the brothers formed Jack of All Trades Remodeling as a division of SL Associates. They had done work on their own homes and realized they had a talent for it they wanted to share with the general public. Tim St. Laurent has since passed away, and Dan St. Laurent continued to run the business alone until his son joined the team.

Danny St. Laurent said clients choose his company to do remodeling work because they trust that the job will be done right.

“Clients trust us because of our level of attention we like to give to clients, along with the results of our success over the last 35 years,” Danny St. Laurent said.

New Britain resident Lynn DiBattista hired Jack of All Trades to install two sets of sliding doors. She said she chose Jack of All Trades Remodeling to install them because the company had done previous work on the house and she was happy with the results.

“We were very pleased with the work they had previously done in house and they have a good reputation,” DiBattista said.

Jack of All Trades Remodeling services towns throughout Hartford County. It is a full service construction and maintenance company that is fully licensed and insured. To learn more, call 860-223-3344 or visit jackofalltradesremodeling.com.
