Newspapers in Education

What Is Newspapers In Education?

The Newspapers In Education (NIE) program is the application of newspapers in the classroom. It is a national program supported by The Herald to increase literacy and awareness in today's students.

Educators at all grade levels use newspapers in the classroom to help students understand our changing world and reinforce basic skills.

A newspaper in the classroom connects young people with their community, nation and the world.
