Bristol reported two and New Britain one coronavirus-associated death over the weekend, according to state health officials Monday. There were 15 virus deaths statewide over the weekend for an overall total of 8,112.
New Britain has had 209 virus-associated deaths among residents, while Bristol has had 135, Newington 100, Southington 94, Plainville 37, Berlin 31 and Plymouth 10 since reporting began.
There were 73,821 coronavirus tests reported since Friday with 1,312 coming back as positive cases, a positivity rate of 1.78%. There was a decrease of 41 state residents hospitalized over the weekend with the virus for a total of 342.
New Britain had 55 new coronavirus cases reported over the weekend and has had an overall total of 9,417.
Bristol added 25 new coronavirus cases reported Monday and has had an overall total of 5,869.
Southington had six new virus cases over the weekend and has had 3,625 cases overall.
Newington had an additional seven cases reported since Friday and has an overall total of 2,675.
Berlin had five more cases over the weekend and has an overall total of 1,552.
Plainville had seven new virus cases reported since Friday and has an overall total of 1,543.
Plymouth added two new coronavirus case over the weekend and has an overall total of 940.
