CCSU reports three positive coronavirus cases over past week

NEW BRITAIN – For the week of April 26 to May 2, Central Connecticut State University reported three positive covid-19 cases.

Two resident students or staff was tested positive by Griffin Health, according to the university’s daily covid-19 dashboard. One resident student or staff self-reported a positive test. There were no faculty members with positive cases.

As of Sunday, no one is in quarantine and two people are in isolation, according to the dashboard.

For the week of April 26 to May 2, Griffin Health tested 765 residence students and staff and had two positive cases, giving it a 0.26% positivity rate. Fifty-seven commuter students were tested by Griffin Health and no one tested positive.
