Walter Lewko

Walter Lewko, 67, of New Britain, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 after a long illness. Walter was born on July 6, 1953, in Manchester, N.H. and was the son of the late John and Josephine (Dachowski) Lewko. He was employed at Hanwha Aerospace for many years where he enjoyed working in the quality control dept. Walter was a hard worker, but family and friends were always his number one priority. He was one of the most thoughtful, caring, and truly kind people you could ever meet. Walter loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He was also a talented cook, and he enjoyed sharing his creations. We were very lucky to have had Walter in our lives and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Walter is survived by his brother John Lewko Jr. and his wife Christina, his brother Peter Lewko and wife Tatsiana, his brother Paul Lewko and wife Kristine, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Walter was predeceased by his stepmother Kazimiera Lewko, and his brother Joseph Lewko.

Services in his honor will be held privately in New Hampshire where he will be laid to rest amongst family. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, has charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
