Norma M. (Teffs) Knudsen, 78, of Plainville, passed away May 1, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Norma was born Feb. 23, 1943 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Otto and Margaret Teffs. She was a graduate of New Britain High School, class of 1961. Norma retired from the Hospital for Special Care in 2009. She will be dearly missed by her three children, Christine Roy, of North Port, Fla., Karen (Ronald) Yorski and Richard (Lisa) Knudsen, of Plainville. Her greatest joy in life was being the proud grandmother of Spencer, Trevor and Tyler Roy, Maggie, Lauren and Sarah Yorski, and Michael DePascale. Norma was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Philip and Kenneth “Butch” Teffs. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Norma’s life, Friday, May 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd S. #4b, Southington, CT 06489.
